WHO IS CHANEL DIGGS?

Chanel is a God fearing women who understands her place in the world. Chanel has a free sprit and an infectious smile. Chanel has a heart for community, a gift of communication and the tenacity to handle what ever is placed before her. Home Design and Event planning is her passion and purpose. She has a way of listening to her clients and bringing their visions to life. No vision is too big or too small for Chanel. Chanel has the business acumen to manage large and small projects and gives the same attention to detail to all events/projects no matter if it’s a community event, a large corporate event, staging homes, or designing your personal space. Chanel’s passion for winning shows up in her daily character, conduct and conversation.

Friendship Walk to End Homelessness- Hosted by Friendship Place a nonprofit located in Washington DC and DJ EZ Street. Cocos Circle Corporation participated and supported this walk to help end homelessness in Washington DC along side other nonprofit organizations and radio personalities from WHUR 96.3 FM.

Managed Grand Opening of third Wawa store across the street from Andrews AFB; hired over fifty associates during the great resignation COVID period; found creative ways to hire new associates during time you couldn’t get people to apply; conducted round Robbin interviews; went to other establishments and recruited existing talent in the workforce; used social media platforms to help reach out to people in the community. Store was fully staffed for grand opening.

Organized, planned, and executed second breast cancer walk at FedEx Field with 25 to 30 volunteers to bring awareness to our community while celebrating survivors and those who lost the battle to breast cancer.  This event was done through my nonprofit organization Coco’s Circle 501(c))(3)

Planned, designed, and executed Indian inspired wedding for more than 150 guests; ensured vendors were on time; coordinated with venue and DJ; created all floral arrangements and decorated event space at venue.

Planned a back-to-school pop up shop with backpack, school supply, and clothing giveaways for local community.  Consulted with mental health community and brought in mental health professionals from the DC Department of Health and Human Services for parents and children returning from virtual classrooms; coordinated with vendors and consumers in order to offer an inclusive platform for local vendors to sell their goods and services; partnered with local schools to publicize event to students and parents; more than 200 turned out; gave out over 300 backpacks (100 donated by Georgetown University); over fifty families received mental health services.  Coordinated this event with Sobodyfit and Coco’s Circle

8-6-21

Managed Grand Opening of Wawa store number 6007 located blocks away from our nation’s Capitol and the White House; hired forty people; worked closely with construction team and lead GC; worked with operations team to ensure all deadlines were met; worked closely with the community to bring brand awareness to a new community.
